Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri is the managing trustee of the Swathi Thirunal Kalakendram Trust. His parents were the late Sri K.Kesavan Namboodiri, an ardent disciple of the great Carnatic Music maestro Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar, and late Smt. Aditi Antharjanam of Kannadi Mana.
Kaithapram started his life in a very difficult circumstance who is well aware of the sufferings of the poor. He started his independent life as a priest.
